Protesters "could be branded terrorists". Freedoms and democracy under attack.

From a freedom of speech and or gathering, whether one agrees with the protesters of not, we all understand that all this is part of democracy and enhances it...
But this bill c-51 and the statement from this cop is the scariest thing we have heard so far...
The path the west is taking with all this anti-terrorist, be afraid, hide and we will protect you legislation as of late is...
"WHEN YOU OPPOSE YOUR GOVERNMENT, YOU WILL BE BRANDED A TERRORIST"
If you don't agree with policies, if your First Nation and you oppose encroachment on your land by greedy oil companies, or whenever you or your kids demonstrate, you risk been branded a terrorist???
Fear is a powerful tool for those in power, and since 9/11, we have seen laws that takes away privacy for safety, forgetting that freedom costs, and is never free.
So far the cost of looking the other way and putting our freedoms in the hands of the few, instead of the people has changed the west into a group of fearful lemmings willing to jump off a cliff for the semblance of security.

But the real problem is, there is no security without freedom, you replace one danger with another...
We who come from the 70's do not recognize these countries who have given up on democracy for security.
We had our terrorists, the plo, red armyfaction, biederr meinhoff, fnla, flq, and many others, as dangerous as those today, after all a terrorist is just that, someone who instal terror.
But we stood our ground, we defended the idea that they would never scare us enough to give up our freedoms with their actions, we would not put people with machine guns in our streets and we where willing to die for those beliefs...
We could walk the streets of our cities without identification, because governments had no right to stop us and demand to be identified without reason. Try that today.
True freedom is been willing to fight for it and even die for it, this evolves and protects the next generation against abuse.
Think about this, "when" the economies of the west falls, all the laws to control the population are now in place, the elitist has protected their power and the people are unharmed and easily herded to where they want.
All because we where afraid to defend what is rightfully ours, our freedoms.
Governments, the elitists cannot fight terrorism on it's own, they need the strength of it's people behind them, right now they installed so much fear in the population, God forbid something goes wrong, people won't know what to do and will look to others to protect them...
That is a recipe for disaster...
