Please watch for motorcycles...2 dead in crash between truck, motorcycle east of Perth, Ont

As a motorcycle rider one thing I have noticed, even been extremely careful, watching the road blocks ahead, the majority of accident when riding a bike is because of people who don't see or pay special attention to bikes...
The one accident i ever experienced was because the car coming towards me turned to my right landing right in front, fortunately I wasn't going fast, skidded and was not that injured...
I always said, it's not if but when it will happen and it's usually because of the other person...
Riding according to what the book says is fine, but as a rider one must sometimes adapt one's own safety rules, one thing for me is to put an extra few feet distance between oncoming traffic, going to my right, especially in curves.
This saved my life once because a car coming at me in a curve was a couple of feet left of the center line, if I would have been to my left, where I was supposed to be, I would be dead...
That said I have experiences people who are aggressive towards bikers, for one reason or another; that is not in the drivers book and those are the ones whom you have to be aware of...
That said, prayers for those who lost their lives today, and their families.
Gone but not forgotten.
