Gender wage gap myth...the vote getter.

One of the things we have to be careful with is, those in politics who are looking for vote with false information. In today's world, people should be fully informed, especially with the web been so accessible....but that's not the way things are...there are still a fair group who will believe anything politicians will tell them...and some politician know this perfectly well...
The gender wage gap myth is one of these issues that seem to be a vote getter, if we were to understand the way things really work we would realise, it is against the law to pay someone less because of their gender, therefore, when  politician or a feminist claims a non existent wage gap, there is nothing they can do about it...because it does not exist....
False information for vote getting by-passes the real issues of the day, like poverty, especially with the Elderly...lack of education...lower math and science scores in our schools...generations living on welfare...the lack of promoting hard work as if it is a disease...the effort by some to break up families....parental alienation...the list of real issues goes on and on...
The main problem with the system we have today is the lack of voters...when a democracy can only claim a 50% participation in voter turn-out, it is easy to control the message...Parties have their core base, those who will vote for them no matter the message...then you have the independents or soft votes...of those, many are uninformed or don't have the time to research what is said of the issues put before them, they will believe what they are told, and if the message is well presented, then power is assured...
And that is the problem, it is about power, it's no longer about serving the population...How many times have we heard people say..."they say one thing and once the get elected they do another"....
The wage gap myth is one of those issues as is the war on women, sure there is violence in every society, but a war on women? Come on, how can any sane person say, a father, a husband, a son, a brother, would allow a war on women?
That said, those who thrive on misinformation to achieve power, to control, or simply to get a pat on the back have the experience on how a message can be manipulated to benefit themselves, and that depends totally on a misinformed population....and when you have only 50% of the population that votes, it is very easy to control that message...

The problem is not all politicians faults...there is also the privilege white high class woman...aka; the feminist, the rich man's wife....and many others...
Take a read of the picture below...the message is the same today, just put differently...
Nothing has changed in all this time...the "we want more, we deserve it" message is still there, even after 500 years, and that is at the expense of the rest of us...

They know there is no such thing as the gender wage gap, but...it does provide them with a talking point on how to get more, especially from those who bow at their feet....
In the meantime, those of us "down here" (men and women) shrug our shoulder and wonder how they would do if they would be in our shoes.......
As for the wage gap...oh there is one, but not the way they explain it....
It's called the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer...ever noticed the ones claiming a gender wage gap make well over 100,000 a year, some even get bonuses on top of that?
That is the real wage gap issues, which they seem to stay away from with a well manipulated, self serving false message.
